Located in the western outskirts of Edinburgh, this client desired more from their home wanting a brighter, warmer space with modern luxuries so they could live more comfortably and better entertain guests.
By extending their home, they created an open plan kitchen and dining area whilst giving them a secondary tv room in the original dining space and a brand-new roof terrace on the extension to enjoy the sunshine with their Pentland views.
Incorporating sun pipes and full glass patio doors by Nordan into the extension, natural light now floods into the client’s home.
Finding the home historically chilly, zoned electric floor heating was fitted throughout the home underneath their new European rustic oak flooring allowing the clients to heat up the parts of the home they want, when they want making home life more comfortable.
